Dispensing options

Ideal complement for microbiology laboratories.

Automates the filling of 101 to 241 Petri dishes (Ø60 or Ø90 mm) with dispensing volumes from 1 to 1000 mL, ensuring safety and sterility. Compatible with Petri dish labeling systems.

Automate the dispensing of medium and large volumes.

Precise and high-speed system (65–100 mL/s), featuring an intuitive touchscreen interface and advanced programming. Its design allows the dispensing line to pass through barriers, making it ideal for sterile environments.

Included as standard in all media preparators to automate the dispensing of small and medium volumes.

Maximize flow rate by installing additional pumps, reaching between 7 and 33 mL/s depending on tube size and the number of peristaltic pumps installed.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a media preparator and an autoclave?
A media preparator not only sterilizes but also automatically prepares, mixes, cools, and dispenses culture media.
An autoclave only sterilizes already prepared materials.
The TLV-MP Series complies with FDA, GMP, and GLP standards and features advanced connectivity, digital data management, and enhanced integration with LIMS and private servers.
It also offers higher performance options compared to the AE-MP Series.

We offer models with capacities ranging from 1 L to 90 L, available in benchtop or floor-standing configurations with casters to suit any laboratory size.

Depending on volume and media type, a complete cycle including preparation, sterilization, and cooling typically takes approximately 60 to 120 minutes.

A media preparator is used to prepare and sterilize a wide variety of solid and liquid media commonly used in microbiology and plant tissue culture.
These include peptone water, lysogeny broth (LB), Murashige and Skoog media, Linsmaier and Skoog, Gamborg media, tryptic soy agar (TSA), chocolate agar, MacConkey agar, Sabouraud agar, and Drosophila feed.
It also enables the preparation of specialized media such as charcoal agar, which does not require pre-swelling, or blood agar, with programmable cycles that allow blood to be added after sterilization. Additionally, it facilitates the incorporation of heat-sensitive nutrients or antibiotics after the thermal process.

Yes, the AE-MP Series can be adapted to handle this type of media using accessories such as the high-viscosity paddle system. We also offer customized solutions, such as the TURBO-MP Series.

Installation requirements depend on the selected configuration, so we recommend consulting the installation guide. In most cases, we recommend using our closed-loop water supply and management system, which ensures a stable flow even without a direct water connection, reuses process water, and optimizes consumption while minimizing waste.
